La Oficina Económica y Comercial de España en Düsseldorf (Alemania), en nombre de ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones, convoca un concurso para la organización del concurso de vinos WINES FROM SPAIN AWARDS así como para su promoción y presentación en Alemania en la PROWEIN.
Toda la documentación requerida que represente la propuesta debe enviarse por correo electrónico EXCLUSIVAMENTE a tenders@icex.es.
Las empresas interesadas en licitar pueden contactar a ICEX EXCLUSIVAMENTE en tenders@icex.es con cualquier pregunta sobre los documentos publicados hasta el 4 de diciembre de 2023 a las 9:00 hora de Düsseldorf.
Con fecha de 27 de noviembre de 2023, se hacen públicas las nuevas preguntas recibidas y sus correspondientes respuestas con el objetivo de que todas las empresas interesadas dispongan de la misma información:
- Herzlichen Dank nochmal für die Einladung zur Ausschreibung an der wir sehr gerne teilnehmen werden. Wir hätten noch folgende Frage ans Sie: Dürfen wir von den teilnehmenden Bodegas eine Anmeldegebühr verlangen? | Thank you once again for inviting us to take part in the invitation to tender, which we will be very happy to join. We have the following question for you: Are we allowed to charge a registration fee from the participating bodegas? Bidding companies are not allowed to charge an entry fee to wineries for wines registered for the WFS AWARDS competition.”
Tender for the organisation and promotion of the WFS AWARDS wine competition in Germany
The Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in Düsseldorf (Germany), on behalf of ICEX Spain Export and Investment, call for tenders for the organisation of the WINES FROM SPAIN AWARDS wine competition and its promotion and presentation in Germany at PROWEIN, to be held in Germany in 2024.
Companies wishing to take part in the tender process must send the following documentation, in digital format, to the following e-mail address ONLY: tenders@icex.es. Proposals not submitted by the deadline will automatically be excluded.
Queries regarding this tender must only be addressed in writing, by emailing tenders@icex.es by 09:00 CET on December 4th 2023.

On 21 November 2023, the questions received and their answers are made public so that all interested companies have the same information:
- My first question is how many samples are expected to enter this competition. This information is crucial because from this number depends on the number of tasters we need to invite. The total number of registered wines is expected to reach around 1,000.
- Secondly, I did not find any mention on where the tasting should happen. Should it be in Germany or Spain or even Belgium? It will have an impact also on the budget. The tasting should be held in Germany, taking into account that the presentation of the competition and the winners will be at Prowein, the promotion of the results in the German specialised media and that the tender is organised by the ICEX office in Germany.
