1. O Government of the State of Paraiba received World Bank funding to cover the costs of the Water Security Project of the State of Paraiba (PSH-PB) and intends to allocate part of the resources to payments under the PROCUREMENT OF STUDIES, PLANNING, ENGINEERING DESIGN, AND BUILDING OF WORKS OF THE TRANSPARAÍBA WATER PIPELINE SYSTEM – CARIRI BRANCH (SAT – RC), AS PART OFTHE WATER SECURITY PROJECT OF THE STATE OF PARAÍBA – PSH-PB FOR THE SUPPLY OF TREATED WATER TO 18 (EIGHTEEN) MUNICIPALITIES, 2 (TWO) DISTRICTS AND 37 FOUNTAINS IN THE STATE OF PARAÍBA, BRAZIL.

2. Under this agreement, the Borrower will process payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method as defined in the World Bank Disbursement Guidelines for the Financing of Investment Projects. The Bidding process will be governed by the World Bank Procurement Regulations.

3. The State Secretariat for Infrastructure, Water Resources and Environment invites eligible Bidders to submit sealed BIDS FOR STUDIES, PLANNING, ENGINEERING DESIGN, AND BUILDING OF WORKS OF THE TRANSPARAÍBA WATER PIPELINE SYSTEM – CARIRI BRANCH (SAT – RC) AS PART OF THE WATER SECURITY PROJECT OF THE STATE OF PARAÍBA – PSH-PB FOR THE SUPPLY OF TREATED WATER TO 18 (EIGHTEEN) MUNICIPALITIES, 2 (TWO) DISTRICTS AND 37 FOUNTAINS IN THE STATE OF PARAÍBA,BRAZIL. The bidding will be organized through internationally competitive bidding, using the Request for Bids (RFB) method, as specified in the World Bank's “Procurement Regulations for Borrowers of IPF Operations”, of November 2020, 4th Edition (the “Procurement Regulations”), and will be open to all eligible bidders, as defined in the Procurement Regulations available on the website: (http://pubdocs.worldbank.org/en/178331533065871195/Procurement-Regulatio...).

7. All Bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” or “Bid Securing Declaration”, as the case may be, of R$ 6,000,000.00 (six million reais).

1. O Governo do Estado da Paraíba recebeu financiamento do Banco Mundial para cobrir os custos do Projeto de Segurança Hídrica do Estado da Paraíba (PSH-PB), e pretende destinar parte dos recursos a pagamentos no âmbito da CONTRATAÇÃO DOS ESTUDOS, PLANOS, DESIGN (PROJETO EXECUTIVO) E EXECUÇÃO DAS OBRAS DO SISTEMA ADUTOR TRANSPARAÍBA – RAMAL CARIRI (SAT – RC), PERTENCENTE AO PROJETO DE SEGURANÇA HÍDRICA DO ESTADO DA PARAÍBA – PSH-PB PARA O ABASTECIMENTO DE ÁGUA TRATADA DE 18 (DEZOITO) SEDES MUNICIPAIS, 2 (DOIS) DISTRITOS SELECIONADOS E 37 CHAFARIZES NO ESTADO DA PARAÍBA, BRASIL.

2. Neste contrato, o Mutuário processará os pagamentos pelo método de desembolso de Pagamento Direto, conforme definido nas Diretrizes de Desembolso do Banco Mundial para o Financiamento de Projetos de Investimento. O processo de Licitação será regido pelo Regulamento de Aquisições do Banco Mundial.

3.
