P112158 Upper Cisokan Pumped Storage Power Plant Project INDONESIA IBRD LOAN 8057-IND Upper Cisokan Pumped Storage Power Plant Project PROJECT ID P112158 PACKAGE 2 – PUMP-TURBINE, GENERATOR-MOTOR AND AUXILLIARY EQUIPMENT SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE INVITATION FOR PREQUALIFICATION NO. 03/INV/PAN-UCPS/2014 This invitation for prequalification follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in UNDB website on 06 November 2008. The Republic of Indonesia has received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) toward the cost of the Upper Cisokan Pumped Storage Power Plant Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract for Package 2 – Pump-Turbine, Generator-Motor and Auxiliary Equipment.  PT. PLN (Persero) intends to prequalify contractors and/or firms for procurement of relevant Facilities required for this 4 x 260 MW hydropower project.  It is expected that invitations for bid will be made around November 2014. Prequalification will be conducted through prequalification procedures specified in the World Bank''s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, dated May 2004, revised October 2006 and May 2010, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries, as defined in the Guidelines. Interested eligible Applicants may obtain further information from and inspect the prequalification document at PT. PLN (Persero) (address below) from 09:00 to 15:00 WIST during 19 June – 6 August 2014.   A complete set of the prequalification document in English may be purchased by interested Applicants on the submission of a written application and upon payment by cash or remittance to the bank account of a nonrefundable net fee of Rp 5,000,000 or USD 500.  The document may be picked up at PLN''s office or be sent by registered mail.
